JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) --  Art Serratelli is an immigration attorney.  The path leading to this career wasn't without its curves.

"It's ok to make mistakes, and pick the wrong path, as long you learn from your mistakes," said Serratelli.

Serratelli is one of more than two dozen professionals in various fields talking to students and answering career questions.  Co-hosted by ASU's Career Management Center, Shereada Harrell says it's a chance to learn about different professions and network for future opportunities.

"This type of event will kind of prepare them to start thinking how to get ready for the career fairs, or how to approach an employer," said Harrell.

Harrell hopes the event helps students learn how to weigh options, what the jobs entail, and what it takes to get there.

"Who else would be a better source for students than someone doing the job," said Harrell.

Students like Barry Goode....

"I figured this would be a good way to kind of get my name out there to them," said Goode.

He's interested in interning for a participating company, and he's hoping to find out what it takes to get there.

"It might even open up a few doors I haven't even thought about," said Goode.

For attorney Art Serratelli, he hopes his message can make other people's career journeys, a little smoother than his.

"Someone told me once that if you're doing as a grownup what you liked to do when you were a kid, you will be very successful," said Serratelli.

Delta Epsilon Iota helped host the event as well.
