Will Lawler named ASU Compliance Coordinator

Jonesboro (ASU) — Arkansas State Director of Athletics Dr. Dean Lee has announced the addition of Will Lawler as the Compliance Coordinator for the ASU Athletic Department.

Lawler comes to Arkansas State after spending the last four years practicing law in Birmingham, Ala.  He spent the last two years with Adams and Reese LLP and the previous two years with Carr, Allison, Pugh, Howard, Oliver & Sisson, P.C.

"I am thrilled to announce Will's addition to the compliance staff at ASU," said Daniel Feig, Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance.  "Will possesses the required analytical skills to be a successful compliance professional and years of legal work have honed his writing skills.  Those two traits, along with his tireless work ethic, have made him an invaluable addition to ASU's athletic administration."

Lawler is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association, the Birmingham Bar Association, the Lakeshore Young Professionals Group and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

He graduated from the Samford University Cumberland School of Law in 2006 with his Juris Doctorate degree and earned his Bachelor's of Arts degree in 2002, also at Samford.  During his undergraduate studies, Lawler was a scholarship player for the Bulldog football team.
