JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - A website has been created for those interested in applying to become the next president of the Arkansas State University system.
The site was presented Thursday to the university's Presidential Search Advisory Committee. It includes details of the president's responsibilities and ASU's history.
The private ASU Foundation is paying consultant Tom Meredith $45,000 and up to $10,000 in expenses to lead the search.
Former President Les Wyatt resigned during the summer.
The search committee plans to begin a first round of interviews in mid-October and a second round on Oct. 28. A recommendation could be made to trustees in early November.
