Tips from Facebook lead Region 8 police to arrest

COTTER, AR (KAIT) – A security camera photo posted on the Baxter County Sheriff's website and Facebook Page, leads to tips and an arrest.

According to the Baxter County Sheriff's Department, Cotter Police requested they put a photo from a security camera at the Bayman beverage Store on their police website and Facebook Page.

After the sheriff's department posted the picture, tips started coming into detectives of who the suspect might be. Police were able to confirm the tips that the person in the photo was Bronson Kittler of Bull Shoals.

Police say Kittler was already in jail on a DWI charge from Monday. On Tuesday police added a misdemeanor charge of theft of property to the charges he faces with Baxter County.

Kittler is expected to be back in court on October 4.
