Poinsett Co. man charged with murder appears in court

TRUMANN, AR (KAIT) – A Poinsett County charged with murder appeared in court Tuesday and had his court date continued.

According to the Poinsett County Prosecutor's Office, Tommy Spray had his case continued to March 30.

Spray is charged with the June 2009 murder of Seth Tucker. According to the Poinsett County Sheriff's Department, Spray shot Tucker June 20 at 16110 Hinds Lane just outside of Trumann.

Police found Tucker's body lying in the street when they arrived on scene. Police say Spray shot Tucker in the chest; but no motive was ever released.

Spray is currently out of jail on bond.
