Julius Pruitt, Marcus Brown, & Jermey Parnell cut Saturday

New York (KAIT) - Saturday was cut-down day in the NFL, and three Region 8 stars were unfortunately on the chopping block.

Former Newport Greyhound Julius Pruitt was cut by the Miami Dolphins. Pruitt had 3 catches for 31 yards in two games. He didn't play the final two games of the preseason.

ASU alum Marcus Brown was released by the Seattle Seahawks. Brown played in 3 games, recording 2 tackles and a assist.

Former Gosnell Pirate Jermey Parnell was cut by the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints. The offensive tackle played the final three preseason games.
