One man killed in fall in Region 8

PEMISCOT CO, MO (KAIT) – One person is dead after falling at the Pemiscot County Port Authority Tuesday morning.

According to the Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department, workers were working on a conveyer belt when a walkway caved in causing two people to fall 45-50 feet.

One person was killed; another was flown to the Med in Memphis in serious condition.
