FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Anthony Leon arrived at Arkansas last year as a junior college transfer with high expectations. However, he struggled to make an immediate impact at safety.
Everything changed for Leon a few weeks ago when he was moved from safety to linebacker. It was a move that paid early dividends in Arkansas' 44-3 season-opening win over Tennessee Tech, a game in which the 6-foot-4, 227-pound Leon had eight tackles, including a pair of sacks and four tackles for loss.
No. 14 Arkansas takes on Louisiana-Monroe in Little Rock this weekend.
