Game time announced for ASU/Missouri State game in NIT Season Tip-off

Jonesboro (ASU) – Game times have been disclosed for the opening round matchups of the 2010 Dick's Sporting Goods NIT Season Tip-Off featuring the Arkansas State men's basketball team.

The Red Wolves will face off against Missouri State in a 7 p.m. (EST) matchup at the Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tenn. on Nov. 16. The other matchup in the bracket, featuring Tennessee and Belmont will take place at 9:30 p.m. following the ASU/Missouri State game and will be broadcast on ESPNU.

Depending on the result of the matchup with the Bears, Arkansas State will face the winner or loser of the UT/Belmont game on Nov. 17. The semifinals of the bracket and the championship games of both the winners bracket and consolation bracket will be televised on the ESPN family of networks.

The winner of the regional bracket will move on to play the east regional winner at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 24. The teams in the east regional are Wake Forest, Hampton, VCU and Winthrop. The championship game of the tournament and the consolation bracket will be played Nov. 26 in Madison Square Garden.

The Red Wolves return four of five starters from last season's squad which posted a 17-14 record including an 11-7 Sun Belt Conference mark advancing to the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Tournament.
