Petrino says Arkansas ready for Georgia road game

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino says his team is ready for Saturday's first game outside of the state, against the Georgia Bulldogs at Athens.

After Thursday's workouts in Razorback Stadium, Petrino said this week's practice sessions had been good ones, with concentration, focus and effort all at high levels beginning with Tuesday's practice.

Saturday's contest will be the Southeastern conference opener for the No. 12 Razorbacks (2-0). Georgia (1-1, 0-1) is coming off a 17-6 loss to South Carolina last week.

Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. Saturday.
