ST. LOUIS (AP) - A suburban St. Louis woman has been sentenced to more than two years in federal prison for her role in a mortgage fraud scheme.

The 27-month sentence for 48-year-old Rebecca Domecillo of Lake St. Louis was handed down Thursday in U.S. District Court in St. Louis.

Domecillo worked for Network Ventures in St. Charles. She pleaded guilty to mail fraud in May.

Federal prosecutors say lenders lost $762,146 as a result of the scheme. Domecillo must pay restitution.
