Vigil held for young hit-and-run victim

GRANDVIEW, MO (AP) - Mourners gathered Monday for a candle light vigil to remember a 4-year-old girl killed in a hit-and-run crash in the Kansas City suburb of Grandview.

Taylor Wilson was fatally injured on Sunday afternoon.

About 100 people turned out for the vigil, where they prayed, sang and listened to a Bible passage. Also, some mourners are bringing pictures, stuffed animals, balloons and photos of the
young girl to a makeshift memorial in the street in front of the family's house.

No arrests have been made, and authorities are asking the public for help. The suspect may have been driving an older, midsize, brown or brownish-gold pickup truck.
