SERVING IT UP: The volleyball Red Wolves (6-6) return to Jonesboro this weekend after three consecutive weekends on the road. Arkansas State is set to open Sun Belt Conference action when it hosts Western Kentucky (10-4) in a 7:00 p.m. matchup Friday night. ASU will then meet Middle Tennessee (10-4, 1-0) on the hardwood at 1:00 p.m. Sunday. Both matches will be played at the ASU Convocation Center, and Livestats will be available for both matches at AStateRedWolves.com.
THE WESTERN KENTUCKY SERIES: The Red Wolves hold a 20-17 advantage over the Lady Toppers in the all-time series. WKU took the only meeting of 2009 by a score of 3-1 in Bowling Green. The last A-State win was in 2004 when the Red Wolves topped WKU 3-1 in Jonesboro.
THE MIDDLE TENNESSEE SERIES: The all-time series between the Blue Raiders and Red Wolves stands a 16-6 with MTSU holding the 10-match advantage. Last season, the Blue Raiders defeated ASU 3-2 in Murfreesboro. Arkansas State saw its last win over MTSU in 2004. The victory was by a score of 3-1 in Jonesboro.
