FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino says his team performed well in workouts this week, as the 10th-ranked Razorbacks prepared to meet the No. 1 Crimson Tide of Alabama on Saturday.
The Arkansas players practiced Thursday in Razorback Stadium, where they will meet Alabama on Saturday in a game set to kick off at 2:30 p.m.
Petrino said after Thursday's workout that the Razorbacks got in three good sessions of practice this week. He said that his team is relatively healthy, so now is a good time to take on the top-ranked team in the nation.
Arkansas enters the game with a 3-0 record, including a 31-24 victory over Southeastern Conference opponent Georgia last week. Alabama also sports a 3-0 record, but Saturday's contest will be the SEC opener for the Tide.
