ASU Men's Golf 11th after 2nd day of Mason Rudolph Championship

Franklin, TN (ASU) – The Arkansas State men's golf team shot a second-round 290 Saturday at the Mason Rudolph Championship, completing the three-day tournament's first two rounds in 11th place with a combined score of 583.

The Red Wolves remained in 11th place at the completion of the second round despite cutting three strokes off their first-round total posted Friday.  A-State will enter tomorrow's third and final round only one stroke behind 10th place Mississippi State.

Chris Pledger led ASU for the second straight day, matching his first-round 71 on Saturday to end the first two rounds of action tied for 17th place with a combined 142.  Following Pledger, Chance Holden is tied for 39th place with a 146, Wessel Zwiegers tied for 45th with a 147, Lloyd du Preez tied for 58th with a 149 and Cory Williamson tied for 71st with a 150.

The Mason Rudolph Championship will conclude tomorrow at the Vanderbilt Legends Club.
