ASU Volleyball falls to Middle Tennessee Sunday afternoon

Jonesboro (ASU) – The volleyball Red Wolves (6-8, 0-2) dropped their second consecutive Sun Belt Conference match in three sets to the Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee (12-4, 3-0) Sunday afternoon at the ASU Convocation Center.

The Blue Raiders swept ASU 25-18, 25-18, 25-19.

Freshman Sadie Clark led A-State with nine kills, while junior Cayla Fielder and sophomore Jasmine Terry each added eight.  Freshman Megan Baska was the only Red Wolves' player to notch double-digit digs with 16, and sophomore Allison Kearney recorded 30 assists.

The Arkansas State squad will now hit the road for four back-to-back league matchups, facing Troy Oct. 1 and South Alabama Oct. 3 before traveling to North Texas Oct. 8 and Denver Oct. 10.
