Region 8 woman arrested after police say she stabbed man

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – A Region 8 woman was arrested over the weekend after police say she stabbed a man in the back.

According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, a 9-1-1 call came in about a stabbing at a home near Alicia. When police arrived they found Roger Darr in the front yard with a stab wound to his back.

Police found Dareth Amber Hatcher inside the home where she was placed under arrest. Darr told police the two got into an argument and Hatcher struck him and then stabbed him in the back as he was leaving.

Police charged Hatcher with aggravated assault and domestic battery in the second degree. Hatcher's bond was set at $15,000 and is due back in court on October 12.
