Lawrence, KS (ASU) – The Arkansas State women's golf team climbed one place in the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational standings Tuesday, ending the two-day tournament with a final-round 320 and combined 963 to finish in ninth place among 12 teams.

The Red Wolves jumped one place in the standings following each round after posting a first-round 332 on Monday that initially put them in 11th place.  A-State turned around and cut 21 strokes off that total for its second 18 holes, which put it in 10th place heading into today's final round.
