Vancouver, BC (KAIT) - The BC Lions have added five players to the team's practice roster. Each season, CFL practice rosters expand from a maximum of seven players (five import players) to a maximum of 12 players (ten import players) for 30 days, ending on Thursday, November 4th.
ASU alum Daylan Walker was one of the five signed. Walker was in training camp with the Atlanta Falcons before being released. He was a four-year letterman on the ASU football team from 2006-09.
Walker was named All-Sun Belt Conference at the conclusion of his senior season in 2009. He ranked 48th in the SBC in tackles (4.2 tpg) and tied for seventh in passes defended (0.67 per game). He posted multiple tackles in every game, including a season-high eight against Iowa, and recorded four tackles for loss from his cornerback position.
