One suspect arrested in burglary in Region 8

HEBER SPRINGS, AR (KAIT) – After a residential burglary, officers arrest one woman in connection with the crime.

The Cleburne County Sheriff's Office says Lee and Sue Noble returned home on Lake Lane around 10:00 p.m. to discover that the rear window of their home been broken into and several belongings were missing. Police later arrested a woman named Brittany Young as one of two suspects in the crime.

Police say the names of the suspects were provided by a tow-truck driver who had freed a tan Chevy pickup truck from a mud hole in the immediate area of the burglary.

Authorities say much of the missing jewelry was found with Young when she was arrested. Following her arrest, police also identified a possible third male suspect.

Young is currently being held in the Cleburne County Detention Center on charges for theft of property and residential burglary. She is being held in lieu of $75, 000 bond. The two other suspects have not been found.
