COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Quarterback Blaine Gabbert will start for No. 21 Missouri when the Tigers travel to Texas A&M on Saturday.
Gabbert suffered what's being called a high right hip pointer early in the fourth quarter of Saturday's 26-0 win over Colorado. He left the game but remained on the sideline with a taped midsection.
Coach Gary Pinkel said Monday that Gabbert would return to the practice field on Tuesday and take part in all team activities.
Gabbert has not missed a game since taking over as the starter at the beginning of last season. So far this season he has thrown for 1,230 yards and seven touchdowns with three interceptions.
The Tigers (5-0, 1-0 Big 12) kick off against the Aggies (3-2, 0-1) at 11 a.m. Saturday in College Station.
