ASU students able to speak with numerous employers at job fair

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Students seeking job opportunities were given the chance to meet numerous employers Tuesday afternoon.

Arkansas State University held a job fair in Centennial Hall at the Student Union.

Students were able to speak one-on-one with employers about the company they represent and what steps they should be taking to reach their future goals.

"We encourage our students who are even in their freshman year to attend our career fairs because that is a time for them to come, network with those people and start building relationships with them so that when they're ready to graduate, they have a connection with those people," Dr. Ed Rayburn with the Career Management Center said.

The job fair will continue on Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A total of 39 booths for the Education, Nursing and Health fields will be set up.
