The SEC West has produced three top team 10 teams, dramatic and even bizarre finishes - all in just the first half of the season.
It sets up a wild finish down the stretch.
The No. 8 Crimson Tide no longer stand alone as the team to beat after falling to South Carolina. No. 7 Auburn and No. 9 LSU are the SEC's only unbeaten teams, but both have been more about survival than muscle-flexing dominance.
However, there have only been three games between Western Division teams so far. The race could gain some clarity Saturday when Auburn hosts No. 12 Arkansas and the Crimson Tide entertains Mississippi.
For now, as Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt says, "It's all jammed up."
