Frozen chickens fly in two vehicle accident

ALICIA, AR (KAIT) – A Thursday morning crash in Lawrence County sends three to the hospital.

Arkansas State Police say a semi carrying a load of frozen chickens was heading southbound on Highway 67 toward Alicia when a car crossed the center line and hit a truck. The truck's tire blew out, and overturned near the railroad tracks.

Police also say the passenger of the truck was airlifted to a Memphis Hospital while the semi driver and truck driver's injuries are still unknown.

No names are being released.
