SEARCY, Ark. (HU) – The Harding cross country teams will host the 2010 Ted Lloyd Bison Stampede on Saturday at the Wyldewood Retreat Center. All proceeds from the two races will go to the family of Lori Newby, who is battling breast cancer.
The men's four-mile race will begin at 10 a.m. Harding, currently ranked No. 1 in the NCAA Division II South Region and No. 10 nationally, will take on teams from Henderson State and Southern Arkansas.
The two-mile women's race is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Harding, ranked No. 2 in the NCAA II South Region, will race against Arkansas Tech, Southern Arkansas and Arkansas-Monticello. Arkansas Tech is ranked No. 4 in the South Region.
The races will be run on the same course as the 2008 NCAA South Region Meet.
