IMBODEN, AR (KAIT) – The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department says on Oct 21, 27-year-old Beau Adams of Hardy was arrested for possession of methamphetamines during a traffic stop.
Officers say they originally stopped the car after receiving a 911 call about a reckless driver between Black Rock and Imboden. They say while they were speaking with the female driver, they noticed Adams moving around and trying to hide something.
Police say they gained permission to check the car and found a baggie of meth near Adam's seat. During the arrest, Adams claimed the meth as his own, but told deputies that the driver knew nothing about it.
Adams is currently in the Lawrence County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
