Jonesboro, AR (KAIT) - Dangerously dry conditions exist across the Mid-South according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS issued a Red Flag Warning for all of the area Saturday. Lack of rain and low humidity levels continue to dry out vegetation creating a dangerous fire situation. Strong winds are also expected Saturday. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures will create explosive fire growth potential.
