ASU Women's Golf 13th after first day of Memphis Invitational

Germantown, TN (ASU) – The Arkansas State women's golf team shot a first-round 333 Monday at the Memphis Invitational, ending the tournament's first day of play in 13th place among 18 teams after the second round was suspended due to darkness.

The Red Wolves were led by Jennifer Loiacano, who is tied for sixth place after carding a 76 for the opening 18 holes.  Following Loiacano for A-State, Anna Carling is tied for 49th place with an 83, Jennifer Welch in 70th with an 86, Courtney Manning tied for 72nd with an 88 and Aly Seng tied for 78th with an 89.

Competing as an individual, Anna Flanrey shot an 84 to end the first round tied for 59th place.

The tournament's second round will be completed tomorrow before the third and final-round of play begins.
