ASU's Red Wolves to play game on election day

JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State football fans who know their Red Wolves will face Middle Tennessee next in a home game at Jonesboro should not show up at the ASU Stadium on Saturday.

Middle Tennessee is in fact the next opponent for the Red Wolves, but the game won't be played until the night of the general election next Tuesday, Nov. 2.

The game is being carried nationwide by the ESPN2 cable network.

ASU enters the game with a 3-5 overall record, 3-2 in the Sun Belt Conference, while Middle Tenness is 3-4 overall, 2-1 in Sun Belt play.
