FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The University of Arkansas athletic program says the graduation success rate for Razorback student-athletes has reached an all-time high.
A news release from the school Wednesday said athletes who enrolled during the 4-year period from 2000-03 had a graduation success rate of 72%.
The graduation success rates for all NCAA institutions were released on Wednesday as well as the 6-year Federal Graduation rate for each institution. The graduation success rate was developed as a tool for tracking student-athletes' academic performance.
The release said the graduation success rate at Arkansas had improved each year since measurements began, rising from an initial rate of 60%.
The Razorbacks' 58% federal graduation rate for student-athletes nearly matches the overall student rate of 59%.
