Paragould, AR (KAIT)- Women in Greene County took extra steps to stay healthy. The 13th Annual Women's Health Fair was held Thursday morning at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. The event featured types of screenings and service options for women. Organizers say this is a very popular free screening for women.
Last year it brought in over 1,000 participants. Receiving screenings that can alert you to an ailment before it becomes a major problem can make a big difference in the lives of women. "Women need to take care of themselves.
They have families to take care of and I think we get really busy taking care of everyone else and sometimes neglect ourselves" says AMMC Director of Education, Debbie Brehner. This was the 13th year the Women's Health Fair has been held.
