Little Rock, Ark. --Today marks the deadline for growers to propose a boll weevil eradication program for Mississippi and eastern Craighead counties.
The state Plant Board forced farmers in those counties to join the eradication program in May.
But some want another vote on a grower-supported plan before the required one kicks in.
