Fayetteville (UofA) - Razorback running back Knile Davis was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week Monday.
He rushed for 110 yards on 22 carries and scored three TDs in Arkansas' 41-20 win at South Carolina. His 22 carries and three rushing TDs tied his career highs.
Davis' rushing effort was against a Gamecock defense, which entered the game leading the SEC and ranked 11th nationally in rushing defense.
His three rushing scores tied the most given up by the Gamecocks to a player this season (Cam Newton, Auburn). Two of Davis' three touchdowns came in the second quarter to give Arkansas a 24-10 halftime lead.
