Region 8 man turns himself in for breaking law

LAKEVIEW, AR (KAIT) – A Region 8 man turns his self in to authorities for multiple crimes.

According to the Baxter County Sheriff's Office, Michael Mark Trampe, 21, of Lakeview was arrested and charged with residential burglary, theft of property, and fraudulent use of a credit card. Officers say he turned himself in after committing the three felony offenses that stemmed from two separate investigations.

Authorities say on Oct 14 Trampe allegedly paid $315.00 for a gold necklace and ring with a check issued on a closed bank account. Officers also say on Oct 1 a warrant was released on Trampe for allegedly stealing credit cards during a burglary.

Trampe was taken to the Baxter County Detention Center and released after posting his $5,500 bail. He is expected in court on Dec 2.
