LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – A Region 8 man is behind bars after police say he raped and then stole a woman's car.

According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, Eric Heath Blackwell forced a woman to perform oral sex on him, and then threatened her. Police say Blackwell then stole her car in the getaway.

The female called 9-1-1 and police were able to locate Blackwell a few days later at a home in Hoxie. Blackwell was arrested after he was caught trying to crawl out a back window.

Blackwell is charged with rape, terroristic threatening, and theft of property. His bond set at $500,000 and is set to appear back in court on November 17.

The woman's car still has not been located, and police are asking for your help in locating the 2002 brown Toyota Camry with a license plate number of 336 LCI. If you located this car you're asked to contact the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department at 870-886-2525
