ULM football coach Todd Berry receives contract extension through 2014

Monroe, LA (ULM) - ULM Athletic Director Bobby Staub announced on Thursday that the contract of football head coach Todd Berry has been extended through the 2014 season; a one-year extension.   Berry was named ULM's 14th head coach on Dec. 19, 2009. The extension is pending final approval by the University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors.

"In a very brief period of time, Coach Berry and his staff have made a significant impact on our program both on and off the field," Staub said. "We're excited about what both the present and future holds for Warhawk Football."

"I am humbled that the ULM Administration would add a year to my contract," Berry said. "I have said publicly that I am excited to be at ULM and I consider this my home.  We are anxious as a staff and team to continue to build this program where everyone associated with our University will take great pride in saying that they are a Warhawk."

ULM hosts North Texas on Saturday at 2:30 in Malone Stadium. The Warhawks are 3-0 at home this season and have won eight of their last nine games in Malone Stadium
