Southeast Missouri (0-3) returns to Cape Girardeau to host Grambling State (0-3) in its home-opener Monday. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m., CT, at the Show Me Center.

Southeast is 12-6 in home-openers since joining the NCAA Division I ranks in 1991-92. The Redhawks fell to Arkansas State, 73-49, in their home-opener a year ago.

Monday's game is part of the Razorback Challenge. Southeast visited Florida Gulf Coast (Nov. 16) and will play at Arkansas (Nov. 20) in the event. The four-team tournament, run by Arkansas, gives each team at least one home game, while the Razorbacks play all three of their games at home.

The Redhawks led at halftime before suffering losses in each of their last two games. Southeast led, 37-36, at Florida Gulf Coast (Nov. 16) before hitting a stretch where it made only one field goal in a span of 6:23 in the second stanza. Most recently, the Redhawks held a 29-27 edge at the half against UMKC (Nov. 20), but the Kangaroos heated up to shoot 54.5 percent in the game's final 20 minutes.

Both Southeast and Grambling State are searching for their first win of the 2010-11 season. The Redhawks and Tigers enter Monday's matchup at 0-3 after suffering three-straight road losses.

Senior G Anthony Allison led Southeast with 14 points at UMKC (Nov. 20), his first time scoring in double figures this season. Allison made 4-of-13 field goals, 1-of-2 three-pointers and 5-of-6 free throws against the Kangaroos. Allison scored double figures for the 18th time in his Redhawk career.

Junior F Leon Powell is off to a strong start for Southeast. Powell scored double figures for the third-straight time this season when he had 13 points at UMKC (Nov. 20). Prior to that, he registered a doubledouble in each of his first two career starts (at UAB, at Florida Gulf Coast). Powell leads the team and ranks fifth in the Ohio Valley Conference in scoring (16.7 ppg). He also ranks third in the league in rebounding (9.7 rpg). Leon Powell had 11 points and 11 rebounds in his first career game at UAB on Nov. 13. Three days later, he scored 26 points and pulled down 13 rebounds at Florida Gulf Coast (Nov. 16). Powell made a perfect 8-of-8 field goals and scored 17 points in the first half against the Eagles. Powell's 26 points currently stand as the most in a game by any player in the Ohio Valley Conference this year.

Southeast ranks third in the Ohio Valley Conference in three-point percentage defense through three games this season.
