Allen Edwards, City Cowboy on Gene Williams TV Show

Allen Edwards and City Cowboy are the next guests on the "Gene Williams Country Television Show" sponsored by Lucas Oil Products.

"Allen Edwards, in his 10th season in Branson, headlines his own show based on family, God, flag and country at the Golden Corral Show Room. City Cowboy, Michael Moreau, stopped by our show during his recent tour promoting his new CD ‘City Cowboy’ on the Riversong Record label," said Williams. "For these two shows, while co-host Katie Lynn was on vacation, Sarah Zapp did an excellent job filling in as co-host. Sarah performs regularly on my show reporting news from Nashville each week."

The broadcast with Edwards can be seen Sunday, July 13 at 10:30 p.m. on WB 31 in the Springfield/Branson/Harrison markets; Saturday, July 19 at 6 a.m. in Little Rock/Fort Smith and Shreveport, La. on Channel 4 KARK/NBC and Jonesboro, Ark., Dallas, Texas and Memphis, Tenn. on Channel 8 KAIT/ABC at 5 p.m.; and Saturday, July 26 on WB 58 Nashville at midnight.

The show featuring City Cowboy as the guest will air on Sunday, July 20 at 10:30 p.m. in Springfield/Branson/Harrison markets; Saturday, July 26 at 6 a.m. in Little Rock/Fort Smith and Shreveport, La. on Channel 4 KARK/NBC and Dallas, Jonesboro, Ark., and Memphis, Tenn. on Channel 8 KAIT/ABC at 5 p.m.; and Saturday, Aug. 2 on WB 58 Nashville at midnight.

Williams, the creator of the only weekly television show taped in Branson about Branson, is an inductee to the Memphis Music Hall of Fame and has worked with greats like Johnny Cash, the Statler Brothers, Carl Perkins, the Carter Family, Charlie Walker, Del Reeves, Merle Haggard, Ray Price, Bill Carlisle, Johnny Carver, Tommy Cash, Claude King, Ronnie Session, Little Jimmy Dickens and more. He is credited with blazing many trails for country music television.

"The Gene Williams Television Show" recently won a Telly Award. While the honor was announced several weeks ago, the actual award makes its first appearance on Gene’s desk for the Allen Edwards taping.

The show includes celebrity interviews, videos from the biggest, hottest names in country music such as Shania Twain, Trace Adkins, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Faith Hill and more.
