SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - The Syracuse Orange are headed for the

Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium.

Director of athletics Daryl Gross accepted the invitation this

morning. An opponent has not yet been decided for the Dec. 30 game.

The contest will mark the first NCAA football bowl game in the

Miami 36-34 at the original Yankee Stadium.

Syracuse has not played in a bowl game since losing 51-14 to

Georgia Tech in the 2004 Champs Sports Bowl.
