COPY-"Sex slave" held hostage by three apparent siblings

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Memphis police say a 22-year-old woman was forced to have sex with a steady stream of men inside an apartment near Ridgeway and Knight-Arnold.

Neighbors never knew it was happening.

"I don't know anything about it," neighbor Courtney Lynn said Thursday.

Courtney Lynn lives right next door to unit 307. Her boyfriend saw police raid the place this week. But she says she never heard a peep.

"I saw them one time coming in real late," Lynn said. "But other than that, I didn't see them."

Police arrested Carlos Perez-Herrera and Juan Hernandez-Lopez, and charged them with trafficking for sexual servitude and promoting prostitution. They identified themselves as brothers in arrest records.

According to one affidavit, they "had gone to Nashville and brought a Hispanic female back to Memphis and provided her with a place to have sex with male Hispanic customers for pay."

However, the 22 year-old victim advised that "her life was threatened if she did not stay and perform these sex acts with these customers."

Loudes Ochoa-Flores was arrested and charged as well. She was found naked in a back bedroom with used condoms on the floor. Police say she and her apparent siblings admitted to putting out business cards and collecting $30 per customer.

While unaware of what was going on right next door, Courtney Lynn is hardly shocked.

"I'm not surprised really," Lynn said. "There's nothing to be surprised about living in Memphis."

All three suspects will make initial court appearances Friday. The 22-year-old victim is not being identified.
