Region 8 students have fun with science

CARAWAY, AR (KAIT) -  Friday Riverside East Elementary students held a day full of activities and experiments during their first ever "Science Day".

The Caraway campus devoted the entire day to doing activities in the field of science.  Students got an up-close look at the Air Evac Chopper and were treated to petting zoo courtesy of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

Later in the afternoon students got to take part in a variety of science projects and demonstrations.

The day was capped off with snacks of alien juice and moon rocks-more commonly known as green Kool-Aid and cookies.
