JACKSON, Miss. (12/3/10) — The Arkansas State women's bowling team
(20-8) posted a 3-1 record on the first day of the Capital City
Collegiate Classic in Jackson, Miss. Friday.

The Red Wolves topped Minnesota State-Mankato, Louisiana Tech and
Alabama State before falling to tournament host Jackson State to close
the day.  ASU had a bye in the fifth match.

"It was an okay day," said ASU head coach Justin Kostick.  "We didn't
perform as well as I know we can, especially against Jackson State,
but it was decent day.  We'll be ready to come out and compete
tomorrow and Sunday."
