Region 8 police looking for suspected bank robber

FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT) – Forrest City Police are looking for a suspect after Regions Bank is robbed.

Police say the suspect is a black male, approximately 6 foot tall, and weighs over 200 lbs. He was last seen wearing a brown Carhart brand hoodie that zips up the front, blue jeans, and a dark baseball cap. Officers say he was wearing a dark cloth over his face at the time of the robbery.

According to police, the bank on 321 North Rosser Street was robbed at 1:51 p.m. on Dec. 3. The subject in question allegedly pushed a customer out of the way to demand money from the teller, received some money, and ran northbound on Rosser St.

No one was injured during the robbery, and police are asking anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts to call the Forrest City Police Department at (870) 633-3434 or Forrest City Crime Stoppers at (870) 261-1499. Up to $1,000 is offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
