ASU to award highest scholarship to students

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Throughout the coming week Arkansas State University officials will be visiting high schools around the state to award their highest and most prestigious scholarship, the ASTATE Scholar.

Awardees of the ASTATE Scholar will receive a $14,000 academic scholarship that includes a double occupancy room for on-campus housing.  The ASU award was first handed out Friday at Westside High School, but will continue on Monday, Dec. 13 to Thursday, Dec. 16 at the following location and times tentatively.

Tuesday, December 14th
W.D. Mills High School—Little Rock, AR (9:00am)
Abundant Life School—Sherwood, AR (10:15am)
Cabot High School—Cabot, AR (1:30pm)
North Little Rock High School—North Little Rock, AR (2:45pm)

Wednesday, December 15th
Marion High School—Marion, AR (9:00am)
West Memphis High School—West Memphis, AR (10:00am)
