ASU alum Cleo Lemon finished 2010 CFL season with torn ligament in pinky finger

Toronto (CFL.ca) - Toronto Argonauts Football Club would like to clarify details of the injury quarterback Cleo Lemon sustained to his throwing hand during the 2010 season.  Lemon injured his finger during the September 11 game at B.C.  While the injury caused him ongoing discomfort, Lemon was medically cleared to play the remainder of the season.

Currently in Jacksonville, Florida, Lemon received post-season test results yesterday that indicate he suffered a torn ligament in his right pinky finger.  Lemon has been referred to a hand specialist in the Toronto area who will assess the injury and determine the best course of treatment.  Toronto Argonauts Head Coach Jim Barker and team staff will provide updates as they are available.

Commented Barker, "We will do everything in our power to ensure that Cleo receives the best medical care available.  We are confident this is a treatable injury and that any downtime will be limited, if at all."
