Missouri signs DT Richardson to letter of intent

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Sheldon Richardson has changed his mind again, signing a letter of intent to play at Missouri.

The 6-4, 290-pound Richardson was 1 of the most coveted defensive tackle prospects in the nation in 2007 after starring at Gateway Tech in St. Louis and committed to Missouri. After failing to qualify academically in 2009, Richardson attended College of the Sequoias in California, and emerged as the third best junior college prospect at any position, according to Rivals.com.

About a month ago, Richardson announced he would attend USC. And now Missouri. Richardson is still awaiting the results of his final exams in California and has not been officially ruled eligible by the NCAA.
