LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Region 8 police respond to a fight call and end up finding a meth lab.
According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, they responded to a 9-1-1 call of a fight happening at a home on County Road 106 near Ravenden.
When police arrived they found Jerry Forshey bloody from the fight. He told police the other man fled into the woods, but police never found him.
While police attended to Forshey they noticed the makings of a shake-n-bake meth lab. Forshey gave police at okay to search his residence where police found other items used to manufacture meth.
Forshey was arrested and is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use.
Police say the man Forshey got into a fight with was identified as Larry Gibby, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
