Craft workshop in Jonesboro keeps kids busy before Christmas

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Region 8 schools are out for the holidays and parents are looking for ways to keep their kids busy.

The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library had the solution Monday.

"Christmas Craft Day" for kids began at 10 a.m. Monday morning.

Children were invited to come in, look around and pick from a variety of different things they could make.

Virtual Library Manager, Alissa Reynolds says the workshop doesn't just keep kids occupied.

"They get to choose two crafts, do those for free and also get those wrapped. So they are great to give as gifts," Reynolds says.

Three sessions for the "Christmas Craft Day" were available Monday.
