Operation Total Eclipse lands 18 people in jail

SIKESTON, MO (KAIT) - A Region 8 man is behind bars for statuary rape following a major police round-up.

Early Tuesday morning, several Southeast Missouri police departments and the State Highway Patrol conducted operation Total Eclipse.

They arrested 18 suspects on outstanding warrants, including Michael Williams of Dexter.

He's charged with second-degree statutory rape and three-counts of second-degree sodomy.

Below are the individuals arrested from the warrant round-up:

26 year old Dara Ritch of Portageville, arrested for Forgery/Fraud-obtain controlled substance.

Ritch is being held on a $25,000 cash or surety bond.

20 year old Jimmie Johnson, JR of Sikeston, arrested for Burglary 2nd.

Johnson is being held on a $25,000 cash or surety bond.

48 year old Pamela McMillen of Sikeston, arrested for Possession of controlled substance.

McMillen is being held on $25,000 cash or surety bond.

39 year old Marcus Smith of Sikeston, arrested for Distribute Drug Paraphernalia.

Smith is being held on a  $5,000 cash or surety bond.

56 year old Judy Jackson of Sikeston, arrested for Distribute Controlled Substance.

Jackson is being held on a $50,000 cash or surety bond.

39 year old Michael Williams of Dexter, arrested for Statutory Rape 1st x2, Sodomy 1st x3.  

Williams is being held on a $50,000 cash or surety bond

18 year old Christopher Beck of Sikeston, arrested for Possession of controlled substance.

Beck is being held on a $25,000 cash or surety bond.

38 year old Timothy Smith of Pomona, MO, arrested for Statutory Rape 2nd x3, Sodomy 2nd x3.

Smith is being held on a $50,000 cash or surety bond.

47 year old John Rodgers of Sikeston, arrested for Distribute Controlled Substance.

Rodgers is being held on a $50,000 cash or surety bond.

47 year old Elmer Underwood of Sikeston, arrested for Distribution, UUW, and Receive Stolen Property.

Underwood is being held on a $50,000 cash or surety bond.

22 year old Sheila Gillespie of Sikeston, arrested for Distribute Controlled Substance.

Gillespie is being held on a $50,000 cash only bond.

53 year old Rudy Lasser of Oran, arrested for Distribute Controlled Substance.

Oran is being held on a $25,000 cash or surety bond.

31 year old Shawn Hubbert of Sikeston, arrested for Distribute Controlled Substance.

Hubbert is being held on a $25,000 cash or surety bond.

21 year old James Bonner of Sikeston, arrested for Statutory rape x10, Stat Sodomy x10, (1st & 2nd). 

Bonner is being held on a $25,000 cash only bond.

48 year old Beverly Draper of Sikeston, arrested for Distribution near public housing.

Draper is being held on a $100,000 cash or surety bond.

49 year old Theresa McAfee of Sikeston, arrested for Possession controlled substance.

McAfee is being held on a $15,000 cash only bond.

20 year old John Lamar Turner of Sikeston, arrested for Assault 2nd Law Enforcement Officer.

Turner is being held on a $2,500 cash only bond.

34 year old Charles Kulin of Sikeston, arrested for Child Support and Probation Violation.

Kulin is being held on a $1,000 cash or surety bond.

Below are the individuals who were already in custody at the time of the operation Total Eclipse:

Johnny Jones (26 in DOC) Stat Sodomy 1st    $50,000 cash or surety

William Scott, Jr (40 in DOC) Distribution of controlled sub  $50,000 cash or surety

Gary Corder, Jr (26 in DOC) Possession of controlled sub  $100,000 cash or surety

Malcolm Turner (19 in Dyersburg Co) Distribution of controlled sub  $150,000 cash or surety

Florence Carmona (47 in DOC) Possession of controlled sub  $10,000 cash only

DPS is continuing to search for several other subjects who have been indicted by the Scott County Sheriff's Office; however their names are currently not being released.
