Charges filed against six arrested in meth bust

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR (KAIT) – Six people are charged with drug related offenses after a search warrant execution at 80 Apple Blossom Cr. in Mountain Home.

Police say Candice C. Byers, 22, of Yellville; Teresa L. Jackson, 50, of Mountain Home; Jason S. McAndrew, 23, of Gassville; Beverly A. Rogers, 25, of Mountain Home; Ronald M. Shelton, 49, Yellville; and Robert D. Willet, 27, of Mountain Home were all arrested during the search warrant execution.

Byers is charged with conspiracy to manufacture and deliver methamphetamine, and has a bond set in lieu of $10,000. Jackson was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture, possession of a controlled substance, and habitual offender. She is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond. McAndrew is charged with possession of a controlled substance with a bond set at $695. Rogers is charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and conspiracy to deliver. Her bond is set at $10,000. Shelton is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and habitual offender. His bond is set at $5,000. Willett is charged with manufacturing of a controlled substance, possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture, and habitual offender. He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond.

All offenders are set to appear in circuit court on January 6th. While serving the warrant, investigators say they found a working meth lab, and approximately three grams of meth and other various drug paraphernalia.

A seventh person, 33-year-old Bradley G. Sellers of Mountain Home was also arrested for violation of probation but was later released without being charged.

The Baxter County Sheriff's Office, Mountain Home Police, Arkansas State Police, and 14th Judicial Drug Task Force worked together during the arrest. A professional lab cleanup crew was called in to clean up the lab and paraphernalia.
